i have to admit...

even though i consider myself a musicphile, i've never heard the pink floyd version of "comfortably numb". dar williams covered it on her most recent album My Better Self, and i have to say, it's pretty good. i'm sure the pink floyd fans of the world would disagree, but i think the guitar is sufficiently trippy enough to bring a drug induced (or at least what i presume it would be like-) haze to mind. in case you've never paid attention to the lyrics, it's a fairly disturbing song. very visual-it would be very easy to make a music video for. in fact, i already have it all worked out in mind.

well, i have one last writing assignment to finish before i take off tonight-so i better get cracking. i just finished one, so i'm feeling rather happy with myself. however, i haven't gotten to the portion that I need to BS yet, and BSing stuff is harder to write than something i am actually knowledgeable about. eek!
